The chapter that I have enjoyed most this year is the one about The World at War. I enjoy this so much because there is a lot of action. I also enjoy this because it goes on almost forever with more and more exhilarating information. Out of the whole book and the whole year this chapter is the best. Some of the things we have learned in this chapter is Francis Ferdinand was assassinated in Sarajevo. Russia, France and Great Britain formed the Triple Entente. Nicholas II was the ruler of Russia. Paris was attacked by Germany at the beginning of The Great War. In 1915 Italy joined the side of Great Britain, France and Russia; the old Triple Alliance became Allied powers. The new skills that I have learned are how to take notes better, this is a very important skill that I will use for life. Another important skill that I have gotten better at is how to work well with other people. I can apply this to the real world because if someday we have a job that has to deal with history, Mr. Couples would have really helped me.
